11 AM, Timm-ays by Q St subway...where is the Tim's? Last I remember, they were converting that old Simpson's across from the Eaton's Centre to a Hudson Bay & Co. Here somewhere? I'll be the guy with the camera gear.

Then, we'll go out and shoot some card. Maybe have some lunch. Shoot some more card. Fly-by-the-seat-of-our-pants sorta thing. Once night falls, it's back to Brad's place for coke & whores! Just kidding....I can't afford any coke these days.

Can we do an earlier start than 11am? I have two kids to look after and can't be there all day unfortunately. It will take me about an hour and a half to get there but I could get there for 9am or 10am.

Anyone?

I'm good with 10, I think. Bueller? How about you? Bueller? Bueller?

I live 10 minutes away from downtown toronto... so i'll be there as early as anyone wants to start...

Here's a map with the Tim hortons that we can meet at... (start time still undetermined)

There is a Green P reight near there with $6 flat rate all day parking that I also marked on the map...

Srsly...you guys could start anytime, and I'll call cell once I reach the city. No need to wait on us out-of-towners.

I'm coming for sure now and I'm OK with any shoot locations or times. I look forward to meeting everyone.

Sounds great!

I have a possible idea... we could go on a tour of the Steam Whistle Brewery... it's right across the road from the Rogers Center / CN Tower and is located in an old train station... Might be some good photo ops while on the tour... and it might be cool? I think it's only $10...

Just an idea to throw out there... (i'll have to check on the rules for taking pic in the building as well, but it's a tour so it's probably fine)

feel free to disagree... i'm just throwing out any idea I come across on the top of my head...

I'm in for this! I live on the water at Yonge and Queens Quay, so it's easy for me to get to any of the spots below.

We should totally hit UofT and Casa Loma, as they have a lot of old architecture. Toronto Island would probably be better in the summer time, although there are some old house there. Costs $6.00 to cross, and can kill the day waiting for the ferry.

I'm available all day. The sun rises around 7:45am and sets around 4:40pm. A 9:30 - 10:00am would be a good starting time for myself. Did we pick a meeting location? If we wanted to hit all of the items below, this might be a potential map. Some of it we could walk, but we would definitely need to TTC to some of the outskirts (ie the Brickworks, and from Queens park to cabbage town):

3) Nathan Phillips Square (Cavalcade of Lights)
9) Dundas Square
5) Flatiron Building
6) St. Lawrence Market
2) Distillery District
16) Harbourfront/Queens Quay
1) Steamwhistle Brewery -> get beer!!!
10) Queen Street
4) Kensington Market
8) Casa Loma
7) U of T Campus
13) Queens Park
12) ROM
14) Cabbage town
15) Brickworks (not sure what is left)

11) Graffiti Alley (i have no idea where this is)

Graffiti alley is near Queen and Bathurst, the alleyways behind all the shops are filled with graffiti, and murals. We can include it in #10 if we decide we want to go there.

The Brick works has tons left and they're adding more as we speak. The bummer now is you must have a permit to do any shooting of models there (that sucks) but I don't think we'll have any problems going there just to do some shooting. It is under construction though and might be a wasted trip as not much is open to us yet because it's not finished.

Can anyone go by there this week and have a look at the site and see if it would be worth while tripping out there?

If you will be in or near a city this week, creatively .. [more] capture some urban decay!

Nice! You think there's any Urban Decay in Toronto? And if there is, do you think we can make images of it? :-P

If we found some (and there is plenty) to shoot along te way, it would be cool for everyone to shoot exactly the same shot with the same settings and from the same tripod then we all process them and submit. Could you imagine the notification tickest to SC :)

Just a thought.

I'm not so sure about that as we all edit differently, it could be fun to try.

Besides I have so many crappy scores in my portfolio that if I did get hammered it wouldn't bother me a bit because it was fun to do.

Just a thought.
