		| | I have an Olympus E-520 and want to buy a wireless remote shutter release.
Can anyone recommend some makes and models for me to consider? I'd like to get a really good quality one. From what I've read, radio frequency is better (more reliable / more versatile) than IR.

The makes that I've come across are:
 - Olympus (seems very basic, kind of cheap)
 - Vivitar (didn't see any reviews)
 - Hahnel (saw a model for $59.99 but didn't see any real reviews)
 - Aputure (saw a model for around $40 but didn't see any real reviews)

Are there any advanced features I should be looking for in a wireless shutter release (ability to take long "bulb" exposures, ability to focus before snapping picture, anything else)?

 Any information is appreciated. Thanks!

 Joe

		| | Whenever I have questions about Oly stuff, I usually search the discussions here:
 Flickr Oly Group

Wealth of info and lots of opinions and reviews.

I still haven't bought a remote yet. I'm still trying to figure out how to get the flash off the camera lol.

 Good luck!

		| | I will definitely check out the Oly Flickr group. I want to reduce camera shake, practice taking self portraits, etc. so I think a good remote will come in handy.
 Thanks again for the info!!
