TMZ are saying:

Tiger Woods is in "serious" condition after being involved in a single car crash near his home in Florida last night.

WOFL FOX 35 in Orlando has confirmed with Florida Highway Patrol the crash occurred at 2:20am in Isleworth. No word if anybody else was in the car

Yeah, just a facial laceration apparently. It was super low speed it seems (under 33mph)

Anyone see the google earth demo on CNN? lol That guy was a boob. Zoom out a little bit and here is Disney World, zoom out a little bit more and here is the shuttle etc. Like that really was important to get across to the viewers. Seemed more like he was getting a plug in for Google Earth..

LOL..... I haven't heard "lets get an 8ball" since, well, I was in my 20's.. that made me laugh out loud... Yeah, what are ya up to leaving at 2:30 in the am... usually, no good... and, if the PGA can snuff out video's of him farting on the golf course, they can do anything they want with this story...

I would guess him and his wife had a domestic and he took off and had the accident and the charges they are reporting as pending are assult charges. His serious injuries could have happened before the accident when his wife showed him an alternate use for a 3 wood.

I like watching Tiger Woods dominate the golf course the way he does, but those damn announcers that spew out the uber Tiger stuff to the point where it is outright annoying is ridiculous!!

Every little wince or scratching of an ear and the announcers are screaming
Announcers: "oh my God! Folks.. Tiger has an itch! He is not feeling good..Can he maintain focus? Can he make this difficult putt with that pain?"

Tiger then makes a routine 5 foot putt

Announcers: "How does he do it? How can he make that shot with that itch? Incredible! He's Tiger!"

This accident is another case of sensationalism by the press. Get everyone on edge, raise the suspense.. then drop the thruth which is way too boring to even broadcast in the first place. Unbelievable.

Gotta love it!

The funniest part being, a sand wedge would be much more effective in that situation...

I was going to say 9 Iron. But I am thinking a wedge or iron would have killed him, So I softened the blow and used wood instead.

To which I'll go all pedantic and say "The woods ain't wood anymore, dude!", just for the fun of it. Good point, actually. His sand wedge is a killa club.

But Tiger Woods Woods would if a wood could putt wood, I got nothing!

This is from CNN
A statement from Woods' publicist and Health Central Hospital called the accident "minor" and said Woods was "admitted, treated and released today in good condition."

I wonder how many execs at ESPN had heart attacks. What would they do if they lost Tiger, Favre and LeBron? Would they just go off the air?
11/27/2009 05:08:45 PM · #23
Being a life long Packer Fan and hearing Favres Name Mentioned every day for the past 17 years I can say it would definately hurt not only ESPN but All the Butt Kissing NFL Announcers who can't get through a single sentence without using Favre. It is worse in Wisconsin because the local media had Favre Watch going for the past 6 years during the off season. If they lost Tiger and Lebron also it would certainly leave them speechless. It used to be the same way a few years back with Michael Jordon, Randy Johnson and Roger Clemens, years before that Bo Jackson, Reggie Jackson. Probably not as extreme as the Tiger and Favre cases but eventually they will retire and the announcers will develope new crushes.

ruh rohhhhhhhhhhhhh.... US weekly is/has published a story about a 31 MONTH affair Tiger had with a cocktail waitress !!!! And, he's publicly admitted: says he has let his family down and regrets âthose transgressions with all of my heart.â

In a statement Wednesday on his Web site, Woods says he has not been âtrue to my values and the behavior my family deserves.â

Can't anyone stay faithfull anymore..lol. Not just men, women too !!! One of the things I loved about Tiger was what "I" believed his values were and I know, everyone makes mistakes and this doesn't change anything regarding his ability to be a golf player.. But, it just IN MY MIND, changes how I think of him as a husband & father..

OH, and before all the "it's none of your business & this has nothing to do with us, it's his private lifers all step in"... I totally agree.. I just am speaking from a womens perspective and mine only and I really really really really really thought he was the last athlete to be caught in this situation.. I still like him, I still LOVE GOLF.. I'll still watch him & WANT him to win.. I'm just very sad for his children & wife right now..

OH, and this gives the ones who thought Elin took a club to that car a chance to look around and say "I told ya so".. LOL... Sounds to me like Tiger was in some boiling water that night...

Goodness - how long has he been married? Not much longer than his affair, is it?

Good for Elin, but she shoulda used the driver... :-)
