Someone on Flickr pointed me towards them. They seem to have some nice deals on software, especially if you don't need to have the latest and greatest versions (Corel PaintShop Pro XI for $8.95, for instance), but I have never heard of them before. Is anyone familiar with them? Purplus software

I've not heard of them befopre now, but they have an excellent (9.30/10) rating at Reseller Ratings. Their domain name was registered in 1997 and points to a contact address in California.
I'd say compare prices with Amazon and other retailers, and if you can get a good deal, go for it.
