Clarification -- this is release candidate for LR 2.6. 2.6 is not really "out" yet. But, if you need support for the 19-some cameras ACR 5.6 (also release candidate) will support, it's available to try.
LR will not automatically update you to this version (since it's not the official release) -- you should, arguably, only install this RC of either LR 2.6 or ACR 5.6 if you *need* support for those specific cameras.
