Note I did not use the "stolen" word... as I am not entirely sure this counts as stealing...?
They copy your image to their server, resize it, strip the metadata from it... and give a link back to wherever they found it. Call themselves a "bookmarking site."
We Heart It
They are taking some flack already from some photogs on twitter (which is how I even found out they existed), as they have no clear copyright/ownership dispute procedures, nor do they have a clear way to request image removal if you're so inclined.
Very curious. Are there other "bookmarking sites" out there which operate like this?

They are boasting on twitter they have crossed the 1 million image mark.

| You might also want to take a look at this site which does the same thing. (IÂ would note that dpchallenge [the admins] seem to be complicit in that they take no measure in telling spiders *not* to do this). |

Any using of an image without approval is stealing. There is no black and white. |

Yes, type your user name into Google Images and there are your pictures.
The thumbnail expands nicely into your submitted image size.
I pulled up Nuzzer's  with ease.

WTF! I just found this! My attempt at JIll Greenburg lighting on my son. The pic is about halfway down. Can anyone translate for me? At least my name is on it.

On the plus side, that is one beautiful photo, and I'd love to know your light setup.

Add "Copyrighted Image" to that search and you're all set!

Not sure what to make of it either.. since I can't read it. Seems harmless enough, there is a link or pop-up when you scroll over my name that has a link to my pic on this site.
Just surprised thats all! |
