Hi guys, a few days ago I decided to build a website to show people my photography, www.tomcubisphotography.co.uk
I would love to get some feedback on it and to hear peoples suggestions. Thanks

Nice website! one thing I will say is that the photo thumbnails take a long time to load, which can be a slight broblem because visitors can bet bored waiting and give up and leave your page... i don't know anything about webpages, but are the thumbnails the full size image but small or very small duplicates? if they were very small duplicates they would probably load much faster...

although this could just be a problem at my end...

otherwise great layout!!! My cousin is taking care of my webpage in his spare time... hopefully it will be ready by Christmas time....

.

too many ads.

The homepage is terrible. Is that really the best picture you have of yourself? Lose the hat. Lose the hoodie. Do you want people to hire you? I'm not sure people would based on the pic you have.

Also, you might want to rename your photos, or just not give them names. And if you do want to name them, please spell words correctly*. You have a pic called 'from within a glacier copy (medium).jpg)... Why is it so long? Why is it so random? I think you'd be better off scrapping the names altogether.

You have nice work though but not a very nice website.

Oh, and if you have a copyright symbol, you need a year next to it, as in 'copyright 2009' or whatever.

*= jealousy. NOT jealosy.

And lastly, it says 'untitled' at the top of the browser (on the tab). That's not very good. can't it say 'Tom Cubis' or something more relevant?
