I seen this lens on amazon for $315.00. I am looking into finally putting down the money on a lens besides the kit lens that I have been shooting with since January. I have been torn between wanting a good zoom lens or and a nice wide angle lens. This one seems like good glass for both of these situtions...at least for starters. Oh and I'm trying to keep it under $400.00. What do you guys think?

OOps that one is for a Canon. This one is for a Nikon and it's only $114.00. Seems cheap. Does that mean it's not good glass?
