if you wanna see, these are some of my photograph in an abandoned place.

//www.dpchallenge.com/portfolio_mgr.php?collection_id=35143

this was a sanatorium, took care of tuberculosis and respiratory diseases, is now abandoned for years and is located in a beautiful place, in the mountains near my home (2 hours in car).

Be happy to have you......bring BIG memory space!.......8>)

Today's semi-random finds, all with the owner's blessings, and I wouldn't have the De Soto had the owner of it not said, "Hey, there's an old De Soto up there on the ridge right across the creek.".

All right, girl......you're a modern, free-thinking, woman of the new millenium...

Just go DO it......find a place, take the shots, bring them forth into the light!

We don' need no steeken' challenge to excel!!!! LOL!!!

Okay, fine, side challenge is good too.
Rural decay is fine too. I've seen some really interesting rural decay shots. I think they were Mephisto's? They're amazing.

I only have one series that portrays rural decay...And I had to get to bloody Iceland for the making of it! ;-D

Yes, that's the one I mean. It's a very interesting series. Iceland is a long way to go though :p

It would still be nice if this made it as a normal challenge

sounds like a great idea ... I travel quite a bit for work, so I'll need to check my schedule to see what would work best for me ...

SO how about starting a SC/image thread for December on this?!
11/30/2009 11:23:15 AM · #49
I thought y'all wanted to see if there'd be a "Regular" challenge from this?

Someone had put forth the suggestion that maybe a Rural Decay challenge would be cool, and that'd work nicely to cover the Open Challenges for a week to have both.

If it doesn't happen in the regular December challenges, we could always sully the fresh, clean, New Year with our vision of broken down & dilapidated! LOL!!!

It's up to you guys......I am already in the December Whatever side challenge, but it's not like that won't overlap with any other side challenge.

Count me in, I've had enough still life for a while.

No need to break the law to get a good shot for this challenge. But I wouldn't be opposed to starting up a fund for bail. Jk

Nice work Nikonjeb, that church looks like an excellent location. Most places I find around here have a lot of vandalism.
