Hey all,
I have a Sigma 24-70 Macro lens that does not have a zoom lock ability. When ever I go vertical or even 45 deg for top down shots the lens drops due to weight and I loose my zoom setup.
Right now I am using tape to try and hold it, but it is a bit of a PITA. Any other ideas?
Thanks!
Stewart

| I have a Tamron that behaves the same. I just make a habit of holding in from underneath in a location that keeps it from slipping. |

Send or take it in to a camera repair shop; it's an easy tightening-up operation, and it'll get a thorough cleaning at the same time.

Well I called around for a repair and cleaning and found out it will cost me about $200-300 to get the job done.
Not terrible, but for a lens that isn't that old it is a lot. :( |
