| I love Photomatix. Very easy to use and once you get the hang of it it's very quick. Here is a link to my HDR gallery. I have from extreme to natural looking in it. |

Ok ok, point taken on the fact that I won't be aware of when it is done subtly and really well. Your shot is a great example. But when looking through his thread, this is the only shot that isn't easy to spot :) |
try showing the nara' photo that i linked to few people and ask them to guess, i think if do not tell i used photomatix there is no way to tell. No way.

Yes, I didn't see those. They are well handled too. To each his own though. Examples of where manual blending is done well can be found in these guys' galleries:
Alex Nail
Hougaard Malan
Marc Adamus
I just can't see how results like these (which I like) can be obtained with hdr software. Just my preference of course.
