i am putting a photo link, this is a simple test photo to check colors from camera.
photo here:

question: Do you see green color cast in yellow color in this photo.
Why i am asking, someone has been claiming that there is green color cast in yellow. I simply can not see it. To me looks okey. So if it is my monitor I want to find out.
So please let me know what you think. |

Well, I don't know if my monitor at work is a good judge because I haven't calibrated it, but I do see a slight amount of greens in the yellows :( Have you calibrated your monitor? I'll check again when I get home because I just calibrated my monitor at home last night with a spyder.

on both my work laptop monitor and my secondary 19'' lcd attached to it (in my opinion one needs at least 2 monitors to be productive at work) there appears to be a slight green color cast. neither has been calibrated, i'm just using the default settings. i'd wait for a few more people to reply before you decide your monitor is out of whack though.
although looking at it again, i can't really tell. it's not really noticeable i guess?
i'm no help whatsoever, but at least this will bump your thread |

I see the green cast, it's pronounced. The effect is to make the yellows muddy. I'm gonna swap the image over to photoshop, clean it up, and repost it for comparison. Hang on.

Okay: the top is adjusted, the bottom is as shown in your original. To me the top looks right, the bottom looks muddy and greenish...

Maybe, but we can be sure the company's logo is not supposed to be that color, at least, so...

I was going to post the picture from their "Haldiram's" website, but it looks like they desperately need a better photographer / interface designer!
All their pictures seem to show some form color cast or other :)

thanks this is all i needed. Very interesting.
Edited to add: Now the top part look pure yellow. But i am afraid in real life the bottom half represent reality better. If someone who has eaten this can tell that this snack does not look like pure yellow. :-D but big thanks for effort.
