Post your outtakes from the Camera Movement challenge here.

I entered this:

and I shouldn't have. I should have entered one these instead:

My submission scored a 5.0682 and early on I was sweating when it was at 4.4. I would really like some honest feedback on it, because I really like it and honestly don't understand the score. I'm not going to whine about it, because it is what it is, but critique would be appreciated.

Thanks

I don't know if these can legitimately be called "outtakes" since I ended up withdrawing my entry and submitting an entry to the Photographing Photographers challenge instead (I trust my "abstract" instincts even less than my straightforward ones)! Anyway, these were my choices for Camera Movement:

Well, personally I found this challenge, to be a little messed in the voting. Don't fret about the lowish score. It seems some great images did very poorly. Oh and some not so great images, did really well. I am still trying to figure out the third place finish. Nice shot, but not that interesting to me. I guess creative blur, is not to most people's liking. You image did meet the criteria perfectly. Definitely an interesting use of blur! I liked your shot, so not much to critique about. You did not deserve 3 ones and 6 twos though. Just shows my point about blur. OH and I can relate. So just hold the head up high and be proud of your image. Good work!

This was my entry:

While I like it a lot, I probably did mess it up a bit trying to do the noise reduction (it was shot with a Samsung P&S at ISO 400 or so, because the light was beautifully low. It scored a whopping 5.5487. Now that I think of it, that's probably average for my motion blur shots!

Anyway, here's my main "Contender". I thought it was too blurry for DPC voters, and went with the one they could "recognize". This one was with my SLR.

It really rocks at full size, a little less so at 640 pixels. :(

This is my alternate alternate, taken in the same "session" as my entry. I like it too, but it probably wouldn't have done well, again, because of the noise. (At least on this one I didn't do anything to reduce it.)
