I know that they were in the wrong folder/location in CS3 - I moved them or repointed or something, then they worked. But in CS4, the interface isn't the same. You have "presets" which list a whole bunch of random duo, tri, and quadtones, but no "Load" function (like there was in CS3) and when you click the drop down for Duotone (or tri or quad) it does literally not much.
I did a couple of searches on the web and didn't find anything useful, so I've come to you, oh wise ones. Anyone been using duo/tri/quadtones in CS4 yet? |

| And I can't remember how to load third party filters either. Grrr..... I hate upgrading software almost as bad as I hate getting a new computer. |

C: > Program Files > Adobe > Photoshop > Plugins > Filters

Woo hoo! Copied them over and found my beloved Nik Silver Efex. But it screwed up a couple of other plug-ins which are probably several generations too old to play with CS4. I shall go delete those and perhaps reinstall from the software disks proper. Or not.
Still can't figure the duo/tri/quad tones. May have to put in a request to Adobe. I searched their site as well. |
