If it is finding Directories, does that mean it's finding images too? I'm such a computer nerd.

I've PMed her my address if she wants to go that route. Happy to help if I can. I'd recommend having the SC approve me working on it, just in case there is any concern. I'm not sure what that concern could be, but I just want to make sure everything is above-the-board, on the up-and-up, and all those other euphemisms for legal. ;)

Instead of shipping the card .. you might be able to give him access to your computer temporarily (logmein.com is one option) with your card reader plugged in.. this can be faster...

Unless he physically needs the card to recover the images!

I ran the recovery and Windows decided to do an update mid-stream, so I am having to start over this morning.

I like the idea of being able to do it remotely. Is that possible to try, Charles?

Let me know if you need any help trying to setup your computer so that Charles can access it.

Its fairly quick and easy setup with logmein, I can walk you through!

48 hours as far as I know...that's according to their guidelines...I think

The humour on this site just cracks me up. One of the reasons I love it so much.

Poor Jutilda, you should be basking in the glory and instead it's become a mad house for you.

In the next episode, Charles not only recovers Judy's ribbon winning photo, but several others as well - which he then uses to attempt to blackmail Judy with. Stay tuned.......

In college I worked at a camera store with a photo lab. You have no idea. ;-)
