I have been searching online for a cover for my camera, Minolta A1. I'm looking for water sand protective covering. Anyone know of any sites that I can't seem to find that would sell this, custom made or otherwise. Or even of a site that would give me an idea of how to make my own?

You might try doing a search for "ewa-marine". I was looking for something for my old camera (a Fuji 3800) but then decided to move to the Oly c-750 which has a custom built case available. But the ewa-marine cases fit lots of different types and styles of cameras and would do very well for beach use I'd think. You can also try eBay - I watched there for a while and just about any size you'd need will eventually turn up there - alot of times brand new.
