| seems like a great price ... anyone have any experience with it? I'd love to have a light option to take on business travels ... but I'm not sure about the head, seems that it doesn't have a quick release plate ... |

| i have the next size larger with a ball head and am very pleased if this was the same as mine i'd buy another! great deal i think! |

| I looked at the reseller ratings right after I posted .... I haven't decided if I'm willing to take a chance on them or not ... the price might be too good to pass up though ... |

I am surprised at their resellerratings... I have bought several things from buy.com in the past without any problems (used to buy a lot of cartridges, printers and other computer supplies from them in my previous job) .. never had to return anything so don't know if negative reviews are regarding that! |

I am also tempted...I have been having issues with my cheapo $20 tripod
One of the problems with my old tripod is the height.. I would ideally want the tripod head to extend to my eye level without using the extension column (I am 5'4") ..
I don't know if I understand the heights correctly here, they may have the numbers reversed.. if they do it might be too small again!

Here are the specs according to B&H
the 44 inch max height is without the center column extended ... at a max of 58 inches, it seems kinda short to me ... |
