Just 2 hours until my LASIK eye surgery....no more fumbling with my glasses to take pictures....at least that's part of the hope.
Anyone else here with laser corrected vision? (I'm only open to positive stories at this time, as you might imagine, so keep the urban legends/negative stories to yourself!!). :-)

Not me, my glasses are to weak to make a LASIK worth the money. However, I don't like taking my glasses off when using the viewfinder or sunshade too.
Good luck with your correction! It will be for sure without any porblems!

I kind of admire you for having the guts to do it and am hoping you get the best possible results. Please let us know how your vision is afterwards. |

Yes, please let us know... My mother wanted to go to LASIK surgery, but she gave up because of her fears, and most because of the money.

My mother made it a month before. After two weeks she leave the glases at desk and go away! It worth the effort. Good luck. May be you can take some photos of surgery :)) |

Where sunglasses awhile avoid to much bright sun light. I know 2 people have had it done, they are pleased but both still say brightness affects them a little. I want to get mine done but eye docter says wait till after I am in my 30's to consider cause my eyes are still changing and weakening. I am just glad I can wear contacts.

I had both eyes done about 2 1/2 years ago. It was the best thing I have ever done and don't regret it one bit. |

I CAN SEE!!! Just a few hours since my surgery, and I can already see as good as I could with my glasses (maybe a touch cloudy, but that's about it). Thanks for the kind words all.
Tomorrow, I should wake up "pleasantly surprised" my doctor said. Can't believe how easy it was, just a few minutes and NO pain. I really did have confidence since I went with the best doctor in this area (from what I could tell). It certainly wasn't cheap, but it seems to have been worth it...almost no discomfort, and pretty good vision already. |
