This one's for Deb, I was thinking of her and her 10-22mm and her quirky eye as I shot it. The dog's a new cross that's wildly popular, poodle/lab cross, they call it a Labradoodle. I hear it will be a recognized breed soon, and I'm all in favor of that. Wonderful temperament, cute as heck, and a very nice size.

Some days I just KNOW I'm too weird for words......I was driving home by the lake, and I saw this trackhoe excavating the spillway to straighten up the runoff stream.

I love mechanical shovels!

More of the same old stuff. I just get a thrill watching the sunsets here. This one has a bird in it for Melethia.

I was shooting for planets again, but failed to get full enough coverage in most cases - lesson learned, shoot both up and down as well as around when not using the beloved 10-22...

Anyway, played with a few panos from the shots, and decided that today (and probably only today) I quite like the untrimmed versions of the panos created by photomerge in Bridge.

Once again.....with time to kill, I stumbled upon this cool shop and they were perfectly fine with letting me bump around and shoot.

I did one of my last portrait shots in this style and liked it.

This girl remained *very* still! LOL!!!

A landscape, sorta, and yes, with the 10-22:

Some cats:

And some people:

The Frankfurt shots were while wandering about with another photog, just watching to see what we could see (and I was playing with a new lens for the people shots). The cats were shot while waiting for the car to get washed. In other words, nothing was shot with DPC in mind, or anyone else at all in mind for that matter. Just enjoying the camera, the day, the company, the sights... :-)

I saw this cabin while on a hike in the mountains and instantly thought that I needed to capture it.

I love the way the artist(s) made the numerals stenciled onto the bridge tower look like a math problem.....8>)

I liked Rosemary's take on the window concept. This was something that a friend of mine at the gallery that does all my framing & I cooked up.....though I owe Joe Dannels a vote of thanks for the idea....

My effort:

This is the imnage of Joe's that I sooooooo admire:

Isn't this stellar??????

My first attempt at Mini-Planets. Lots of work, I must say, but fun nevertheless.

They say pigeons are flying rats, right? And Lobsters, basically, are the rats of the ocean floor. Here's a result from this year's clambake, time to chow down!

Ok, here are some of the first shots from my 10-22mm lens. I'm still experimenting and figuring out what to do, but I thought these were fun :D
