I was just looking at their mystical lighting & edge effects bundle package... This looks pretty awesome so I'm just looking for some feedback for anyone here who's already used it...

So, I took the plunge... I just couldn't resist.. next I hope to get the edges program.. I wanted to share some of the examples of what I played with so far...

basic edit color bleach sepia/fairy dust

basic edit washed out, afternoon sun & color bleach.

It's a pretty cool program that allows you to layer each effect and control exactly how much of the effect you want to use.. And, not just one little control, each effect has multiple controls within it that make drastic changes.. I've got to watch the videos on how to use most of the mystical lighting as it's not as obvious as I thought it would be.. Pretty fun so far.

I think they look a bit overdone; and I know that may be the whole purpose of the program, to do them simply and make them look magical. But it doesn't seem professional enough. A lot of people on this site could achieve the same effects with basic Photoshop (or even Photoshop Elements) techniques that may take a little more time but are not that complicated and give you more versatility, at the expense of ease-of-use.

I'd say the fairy dust looks a bit too fake. Back in the old days before digital we had to make do with real fairy dust. It took a lot more effort but i think it made people better photographers in the end. :)

You're probably right... I can guarantee you I can learn how to do anything in photoshop,(over about a million years time) but if I can buy a program that automatically does it for me, and it's reasonable, then I'm all for it.. I guess that's the entire purpose of plug-ins, actions and so forth.. This was just my first attempt and I've not even taken a moment to properly learn how to use them, I just thought they were looking fun so far.. :-).. Thanks for the input..
