I haven't voted yet -- I like to savor the images so I know them well before voting--kinda like a fine wine! :D |

My shot failed. Had a perfectly envisioned shot and it didn't come to pass. So before giving up, I took the camera off the tripod, adjusted some settings and tried to capture what was left of the fire.
Minutes before rollover too.
Appears to be doing well, 6.2ish... Shocked. Thought it would be in the mid fives, although it was a happy accident. |

My score is terrible, just as I knew it would be. At the very least, my husband and I had fun together and I have found yet another area that I need to read up on (low light).

| This has got to be the challenge with the least number of votes ever. 80 votes in 3 days is something I've never seen before, you usually get close to 100 votes the first 24 hs. Any ideas as to why? |

not a single answer to this post in almost 24 hours is maybe a good answer to the question :-). I personally blame on the creativeness behind the burning-matches shots *spread all over the place when looking at the thumbnails on the voting page* and the coincidence with the free-study voting period.
