Just a quick update: Thanks to your help, I've raised $2,373 so far, or 79% of my goal!
My team captain tells me we're within striking distance of being the top fundraising team (currently we're in second place). While we will take donations right up until the walk, the total as of today will be used to determine the top fundraising team. If you've been meaning to donate, or to enter the photo tournament, doing so today may help put us over the top!
Thanks in advance for your support!
~Terry

$2,644 to be precise... looks like that goal is in striking distance... we're 88% of the way there!

Still at $2,644. I'm stuck!
If you're interested in the photo tournament, there's still room!

A quick request! If you have someone whose name you'd like included on my "I'm walking for..." sign, please give me their names! You can either post here or PM me at your preference.
Status update: So far we're up to $2,729, or 91% of my goal. We need less than $300 to hit it!
Thank you so much for your support. It means more to me than I can put into words, but more important than that is what it means to people living with MS.

Just a quick update and a last-ditch request!
Right now, I'm at $2,889, which is just $111 from my goal. That's good news, but I just received an email from the walk coordinator. The walk as a whole is well below its total fund-raising goal, so if you have not yet donated, please do so today! We have just a little over 48 hours to go, and your support is critical.
The economy is challenging right now, but it creates extra challenges for people with MS. Please consider the following:
* Requests for vital services such as in-home health assistance have increased by 80% in the past year.
* Requests for career counseling have quadrupled in the last two months alone.
Every dollar you donate now is one more dollar that can be put to immediate use to assist people living with MS.
Donations are welcome at my walk page. If you donate $20 or more, please also head over to the MS photo tournament thread to reserve your spot in the tournament.
Thanks,
~Terry

THANK YOU everyone! As of right now, you have helped me to raise $3,059 to help find a cure for MS, surpassing a goal that just two weeks ago I thought was all but unattainable. Your support of this very worthy cause that is so close to my heart means more to me than I can put into words. I'm extremely grateful for your support, and I'm extremely grateful to have so many generous and selfless friends who are willing to be a part of this walk. I believe that we will find a cure soon, and when we do it will be because of people like you who stepped up to offer their support.
If there's anyone who hasn't donated and still wishes to do so, as of the time of this writing, a good friend and teammate of mine, Steve Cooperstein ( mcrochip), is still a little short of his minimum fundraising requirement of $1,500. Please take a moment to visit his page, and if he's still under $1,500 send your donation his way. If he's over the $1,500, or if you'd rather not do that, donations are also welcome at my page.
Thanks so much for all the support and encouragement you give me every year.
Thanks,
~Terry

Bravo, Terry on reaching an aggressive goal! Here's hoping the forecast improves... looking a bit glum right now for your walk. |

He would walk across Antarctica for this cause, never fear! With a smile on his face....
