Challenge Details: Find an interesting window view. The window glass or frame must be included in the photo to make it obvious it's been taken from a window.
what if you took a shot of a window scene from the outside looking in? would that be dq'd? |

You can't be dq'd for not following the challenge, but you might get hurt in the scoring. Though I'd say from a window looking out, is similar to from a window looking in, so I personally would not vote DNMC. |

I would consider outside looking in to be fine. I think I have my idea for this challenge already. |

Me too. Not that it means anything as I had a billion Fire ideas an never got round to shooting!!
My idea may be too difficult to pull off, also may break a rule so I guess I need to get on with it and then contact the SC to see if it will pass the rules.
This kinda reminds me of art class at school, one of our assignments was windows & doors. |

I'd say that would be window framed vs. window view when you go look at the chalelnge descriptions. So my guess is your scoring would be hurt. |

At first glance, that seems logical. But the more you think about it, you're looking through a window either way--either in through a window or out through a window. Either way, it's from a window, just on different sides. |

I normally don't get involved in these discussions becasue I vote the photo more than the black and white challenge description but ...
I think the operative word here is "from" a window. At least to me that has a more specific meaning than the other window challenges. But in the end there are no worries from me as if it is a good shot I'd give it latitude. |

I did an image and after I looked at it, the light went off over my head that it really was exactly what the challenge directive said - what a happy surprise. I entered yesterday. WOO HOO
Only 10 entries so far. I wonder if it will be a low amount of participants. |

The subject/s need not be human, but must be able to move on it's/their own. So what about vehicles? Do they count or not, because they can't actually move on their own. |

actually, they can move on their own. If they're in neutral on a hill, etc. It doesn't say they have to be moving on their own in the challenge though. |
