Peter, I'm sorry to see that you're loosing the companionship of a true friend. Nothing comes close to the unconditional love we receive from our pets. My heart and thoughts go out to you in your time of sorrow.

I just finished the shower cake. It's not perfect, but boy is it huge! And it's all handmade from scratch, so it will taste good too. LOL!

My wife was originally due on the 14th, but some complications pushed that up to today. Earlier this evening, our son Theodore Christopher Meyers was born, weighing 6 pounds and 19 inches long. Mom and baby are doing well, and (frequent DPC model and general "slab-o-bacon" ham) Jason is excited to be a big brother.

How awesome!!! Congrats!!!! So is he a Theodore, a Ted, or Teddy? I took a couple of days, but Megan became a Meggie and has been so ever since. :D

| Thanks everyone! We had a scare last night with my wife's blood pressure, but the doctors got that under control and she's doing fine. I'll get to take them both home tomorrow. |
