Woot is selling a small (point & shoot sized) flexible tripod today (Oct. 4th).
I have a slightly larger one of these and I find it is not as good as the Gorillapod, but still a decent deal for $4 US. Might make a good stocking stuffer, or be useful as props if we ever have a tripod challenge. |

| I just ordered a couple. Definitely not strong enough for a D300. But I'm thinking they might come in handy to mount a couple speedlights on location shoots. |

That was my idea as well. |

| They're not very vibration resistant either. |

I have a bunch of these and have used them solely for that purpose. They aren't really big enough to handle an slr, but a point and shoot works great on them. I would say that a speedlite is about the extent of what they can handle. |
