Has anyone tried one of those? Looks like an umbrella with a detachable front that fits over your light and essentially turns it into an octobox of sorts.
I lost an umbrella to the wind this weekend, so I was thinking about replacing it with one of these guys. |

| That's a brolly box— it's my first choice when I'm working with studio lights. |

| Yeah, I've seen a few of em on ebay. They function essentially like a softbox, just a different shape of light, but I mean functionality wise, you get the same effect? |

Those look fun, but much more than I want to spend right now.
Although Im debating snagging a couple of alienbees to go with the rig I already have...mostly just a few of the smaller ones. Either that, or steal my moms kit of Calumet travelites, so then I'd have 5 to play with instead of the 3 I have now. |
