Just saw the movie "9" a couple days ago.
The trailer was amazing... Who ever directed the trailer should have been the one directing the movie. Unfortunately, I can't say I would enjoy watching the movie any more then I would enjoy watching the trailer over and over for 79 minutes. People were saying it was a whole new kind of movie, spectacular and innovative, people were going to love the mood. In my opinion, it was like taking characters from the little mermaid and put them in a post-apocalyptic environment. It was a flat-out kids movie with a large budget and a great trailer. There is NOTHING in this movie I didn't get from watching Toy Story...
The characters personalities were very boring, not a single scene really moved me at all, and like what VitaminB said, the plot-line was way to predictable. Thanks for the comments everyone.

| While I wouldnt necessarily say that it is not worth seeing, I will say that it is a forgettable film. I didnt feel the story was gripping, didnt really care about the characters much, and would have preferred renting it. Also, I found the plot line to be very predictable. |

| Seems to be par for the course these days - amazing trailer, insipid movie. I plan to rent it on DVD for $4 CDN in a few months' time, rather than cough up the $$$ to see it in movie theatre with popcorn and a drink. |
