Anyone use it? What are some of the main benifits over using photoshop?

I used it years ago when I was a photographic assistant.
We used it for viewing digital images as the camera was tethered to the computer. In order to edit them however, we processed the file, and opened it in a separate program such as Photoshop.
Is it an editing program? |

Yeah i think its mainly for RAW and file sorting. not 100% |

| Yep, it is certainly more a competitor for Lightroom than Photoshop. And IMO, Lightroom is superior. I received a free copy of Capture 1 4.0 at one time, and played with it and Lightroom, and decided that Lightroom was the better bet. Since then, Lightroom has gotten a *lot* of updates, but I have not kept up with what they have done with C1. |
