| I tried the Canon, didn't like the sharpness of the one I got. Sent it back and got the Sigma, it's my favorite lens now. Sharp, well built, comes with case and hood too. |

Awesome, thats all i need to know :D I could use the extra $$ to get a few filters or something. Just gotta test the sigma before hand. Ive been told, some are known to have soft edges. Thanks
edit: do either of you guys have some sample pics youve taken? Perhaps an unedited, straight from camera shot?

I have the canon 10-22mm It is now busted!! The thing is coming apart at the focusing ring. I think someone tried to force the focusing when it was in AF mode and snapped it. Brought it into Canon to fix it and to calibrate the focus. Not sure how much this is going to cost me but I have a feeling I could have just gone out to buy the Sigma.
Had a wedding today and boy did I miss that lens!!

| I know I'm from the opposite side of the aisle but the Sigma is exceptional. I love it and it's probably my favorite lens (though the Tamron 28-75 2.8 is inching in as most useful) |
