advanced editing allows for the merge of several shots specifically to allow HDR, speficially NOT for inserting objects that weren't there (say a car driving on a lake for instance).
However would it be dissallowed for a HDR shot made of 4 or so images where 1 of those was say 30 degrees out of kilter leading to some slight, subtle artistic aberations in the shot? My guess is yes but I'm asking all the same. |

From Advanced Editing Rules:
create your entry from 1-10 captures of a single scene (defined as a scene whose composition/framing does not change).
Thus NOT allowed. Only thing that can vary among images is the exposure or the plane of focus. |

Oh for pities sake !!! That is so obvious ... doh !!! I feel rather silly now, I really should have got that without having to ask :-/
I think sometimes one can become blinded to such obviousenesseses by the intensity of invovlement when preparing images for this competition. |
