Hi, i edited a shot for a stock website and it was rejected because:
"The following files were not approved with a description
of why they were not accepted:
5745225 A dream of hope.
Reason: Blurry: Image is not very crisp or is blurred when viewed at full size."
The original doesn't seem blurry, but i reduced the noise and with the same plugin changed sharpness a little bit before submitting it, can that be the reason?

Yes. Stock sites only rarely accept images that have noticeable noise reduction. Noise reduction is the enemy of sharpness. Bear in mind that the end-user, the one who BUYS the image, can then apply any noise reduction they feel is appropriate, but they can't UNDO it once it is done.

oh, ok...the ISO was 80, but the blue sky (with my point and shoot camera) got noisy after some saturation. :(
Thanks anyway! |
