Penny and I have a house for a week in Addison, Maine (on the coast near the Canadian border, basically) starting Saturday. There's a phone there so we can be reached if anyone wants to try and hook up. Won't have much internet access though, so we'll be pretty scarce on DPC.

PM me if you want the number (don't want to post it here), or for that matter does anyone want to volunteer to "host" the number in our absence, so others can PM you to get the number whilst we are gone?

We're leaving on Thursday, spending a couple nights en route with friends.

I'm actually going to be about 10 miles from there starting on Friday. My wife's family has a little cottage at the south point of Ripley Neck ( just south of Harrington). Don't know if I'll have time to get away, but I'd love to try.

A friend of mine back in Wisconsin just returned home after two weeks in Maine. He was most impressed with the Whale Watch. Are you going to be doing anything like that. If so make sure you show us photos. My friend left his camera at home. He is still kicking himself.

We have no plans to go Whale Watching at this time, that I know of anyway :-) I've done it a gazillion times, but I don't know if penny has...

I just got back from Maine---two weeks of vacation on Square Pond. We were near the coast---SE area. Oh my---the lobster this year was so cheap!! Lobster was $3.99 a pound---cheaper than hotdogs per pound!! We also ate out Lobster---2 twin lobsters for $11.99!! 6 live Maine lobsters, and 2 pounds of steamers for $37.00!!!!---it was a feast!! We had a great time!!
