Ok, I don't have an iPhone or an iPhone touch, and don't plan to buy one, but this is so cool I'd consider it!

Edit: Sorry--I linked to the FLV file because the link in the url bar was filled with email "referral" spam (since I got there from a spam message they sent me! Fixed it.

Watch the videos though to see how this works...very cool!

Can't get anything when I click the link for "this". It downloads some file that won't open because of an unknown file type. That is this wonderful iPhone thing?

I still think it is pretty neat. I just don't think it's that great for a touch like I have cause I would have to be in wireless range and thus could only use it near my apartment. But for iphone users I'm sure it would be neat, I wonder what kind of delay it gives you.

This does seem like a neat idea, and might be useful for studio work. It seems quite cumbersome though for location work, since you have to have the camera connected by cable to a laptop. Also most of the remote control features are only available for very high end cameras.

I'm debating whether to get this or not. It seems like a pain to have a computer handy in order to use this. I don't think I would use this for many photography sessions (I don't currently do much studio work). However, the next time I have a long project around the house, I may set up a time-lapse shoot (using the intervalometer), except that I can do this without using my iPhone--just my laptop. I don't think too many people would like their iPhone tied-up for hours and hours (and maybe days) in that situation.

This is a cool idea however it seems to do the same thing as Nikon's Camera Control Pro. Apart from being able to walk around a little bit while leaving your Laptop or PC stationary it isn't very useful. I am still tempted to get it for my Ipod Touch just to play around with it because I am a Tech Junky and find stuff like this to be very hard to resist. Waiting for someone else to take the plunge and tell us how cool or uncool it is, Then I will make my next move. Just bought a new Laptop today which I am about to start loading programs on once the battery is completely charged which means I have a my tech fix for today but withdrawls will start again tomorrow.
