Well, it's actually a Build-a-fort kit, but the first thing that struck me was these large camouflage sheets would make great backdrops.

The second thing that struck me was this takes all the fun away from stringing your bedsheets all over the room to make a tent.

Just tore down this evening's fort-- it was a brown king size bed sheet strung over rope tied between doorknobs. :) Oh, the fun to be had with kids...

OK, i just bought it! Darn you yo_spiff. :)

i saw that this morning too. i was really hoping for a wootoff because i'm stuck in training with not much to do.

anyway, do you think these things would work well as like a deer blind for hiding while taking photos of wildlife?

the glow wands make it really tempting ;)

OK I ordered one, but not for a backdrop, I ordered it for it's intended purpose, my son loves setting them up(well I do it for him) and playing in them. thanks for the link.

Probably, but hey, you are only talking about $15 with the shipping for 2 kits. It'll be good for something.

Hey! Good deal. I just ordered one also. Thanks Steve!

I'm using mine as a camo screen for nature shooting. I've been looking at ground hunting blinds for awhile now and didn't want to pay the $$$ for one. This will work and is MUCH cheaper! :-)

SOLD OUT! :(

If you guys are looking for something cheaper to simulate a ground blind, you can check at a sporting goods store (ex. Dick's Sporting Goods). In the hunting section they have a camo burlap throw type thing, and i've picked up a camo mesh net as well. They have them in updated camo patterns.

The camo mesh may be handy for me if I can't fine it elsewhere. Our local Flickr meetup group has been invited to be "war correspondents" in a WWII reenactment later this year. (Last year we were just normal spectators) My silver Rebel needs to be toned down a bit.

hahaha..hey Yo_Spiff, you should ask some comission to the "BE AMAZING" for the advertisement in this thread! Everyone is buying one!

To yo_spiff.. They also have a camp tape that you can put on. It comes off pretty easy too. That might be better on the camera

Hmmm...First time buying anything from Woot and they seem kinda slow. ??? Order was placed on the 18th (rec'd confirmation email same day, which was good), and just rec'd the shipping notice that the order was shipped today (the 26th). It takes 8 days to go from order to ship?

I received mine two days ago. Of course, I live across town from Woot, so once it is shipped, I get it quickly. It does tend to vary. Like any business, their warehouse no doubt has surges of busy periods.

I think I haven't had enough coffee yet this morning...your comment went way over my head. What picture? I just went to woot.com to see if I missed a woot logo or something.

Ok...off to get a cup of caffeine. :-)

That's cool. Glad yours came in! Had a chance to "play" with it yet? :-)

Regarding business - I guess I've gotten spoiled by business models like B&H and Amazon. :-P

No, still sitting on my desk. Need a suitable subject for a camo backdrop. Hmmmm. Challenge suggestion! "Camo"
