They don't seem to have any of mine :-(

One of mine, too.
First time I have ever had one lifted, at least to my knowledge.

www.lovelynepal.com is registered by godaddy.com. I spoke to their abuse department, and they confirmed they do not actually host the content.

A little more dns-digging determined that the actual web services are being hosted by Server Pronto serverpronto.com, and product of Infolink infolink.com.

I spoke to their tech reps on the phone (305-324-1616), and they advised each user should email directly to abuse@infolink.com with the specifics of your copyright violation claim. They do not require a specific form or format for the initial contact. I expect, although I don't know for sure, that they will end up lumping you into a DMCA claim against the customer who maintains lovelynepal.com.

They don't appear to have any of my images (good for them) ;) so I can't do much on my side to file anything official -- but I encourage those of you whom have images used-there-without-permission to contact the abuse department for Infolink.

Done, and thank you from me too. That is an impressive piece of detective work.

I wonder if this could be some of the people on here that vote and or leave comments or add you as a favorite but have nothing on profile No info, no pics? I have had a few of them.

no, that is not necessary and a waste of time.. A program is collecting the images within seconds by simply scanning through the website

I noticed they have a contact number but I don't know how much it would cost to contact them in long distance fees.
+977-9841206720

When I googled that number it also shows up as a contact number for //www.odude.com/. This site seems to sell ODude Ecard 1.1 which is a Joomla 1.5.x component.

Thanks for the research, Charles. I found 2 images belonging to a friend & forwarded this info. Bad enough they're lifting images, but to put them on CRAPPY CARDS is further insult. Thanks to Connie as well for bringing this up.

Glad I could help out. I'd love to hear what kind of feedback anyone is getting from Infolink about their complaints. Since I can't complain myself, I have no idea what happens past emailing that address -- I hope it actually does some good and doesn't go into a black hole. I can do some more digging and get us some "real people" involved if you're not getting satisfaction... I'd hope with the sudden flurry of complaints (and I can't imagine we are the first), they'll take notice.

Not only are they sloppy theives they are not very good at English either. They have a link at the bottom of the page you can Sing up to be a member. It is one of the only websites I have ever seen that want you to sing. hmmm maybe they steal music too?

I wonder how many sites are out there using photos from DPC that we just haven't found out yet.

Hm maybe a standard watermark by DPC that's up there for everyone to download - or maybe the watermark can apply itself upon uploading an entry? Maybe that way you don't have to worry about having all these different exotic watermarks on challenge entries.

I haven't tried selling any images yet because photography is mainly just a hobby of mine so frankly I would feel flattered if I found my images being used elsewhere. But i can totally understand how it would kill someone who does photography for sustenance.
