I got a little start on my website tonight. Would appreciate your comments on it.

Nice, simple design. The right side seems a bit off...the boxes aren't closing and the photos are aligned right to the edge of the box. Did you intend it to be that way? Here's a screenshot in case you're getting something different.

Nice, simple, clean looking site with easy navigation. Things that I encountered:

Ditto what mk said about the right side being off. Also-
1. When I click on "Bright Sunset" and "Dark Sunset", I expect to see the same version as the thumbnail, but they turn out to be in portrait mode instead of landscape as shown in the thumbnails.
2. Under your photography sections, I would expect the name shown to be the same as the name of the photograph. Also, colorfull is correctly spelled colorful-(sorry, spelling on websites is a peeve of mine!)
3. On your "Prints" section, both photos are clickable and work fine, but "Riverwalk Falls", while clickable, takes me to an error page, and "White on Rust" is not clickable, though I would expect it to be since Riverwalk Falls is.

*Edited for inclusion.

MK: fixed the IE issue of it going to far to the right. (I hate IE)

LHall: Fixed the title names and the thumbnail issue. Titles all now match as well. The prints section has been corrected as well.

It was really late when I finished and I should know better then to try and rush it.

Thanks
Brian

rather than text links for your images, why not use the thumbnails as the links?
also would be nice not to have to click quite as often back and forth to the index pages.

your navigation isn't consistent as i notice the prints sectio is set up a bit different.

nice and simple, and loads fast.

using smaller and cleaner fonts [like plain old arial] will clean up your pages and make them seem more organized, also putting the entire emphasis on your photos.
:-)
