That is correct, and the points columns show the "points" he had prior to this round (16), and the "total" shows it after this round (36)... 16 + 20 = 36. |
ok, thanks for explaining that. So essentially the column for "points" should be labelled "previous points" and we are missing a column that should be called "points" (or "weekly points"). If that extra column was in there it would be a lot easier to keep track of.
Thanks again.

No worries I will add the extra column |

Have you tried file recovery software, if you delete a file it's not actually gone untill it is overwritten, deleting usually only specifies that the space for the file is empty.
there is some free software around that can recover file. Sorry if you've already tried this. This might help someone else though. |

Thanks so very much for running this event, it is fun! My participation in DPC was really falling off, and now I am going to be entered 6 weeks in a row. your efforts are appreciated.

Thank you for the advice Indridi, the card had been recently formatted just before I left for the day trip so when I formatted after the trip to re-use the card it was the first files written over. I ran recover software on the card but had no luck. Thank you everyone for your concern, but don't feel too bad for me, it was a bonehead move on my part. I will just have to get some more ribbons. :-) |

Yeah, what I think happened is that I tried to download the cards but my main hardrive was too full and stopped halfway through. I had an SD and CF card for my D200. I deleted the folder I placed these two cards into and opened up one of my external hard drives but got distracted and did not transfer them over at the time. I thought I had transferred the images so I formatted the cards, made some more images and wrote over the previous images which included my entry. But they are gone, I checked all the folders on my external drive to see if they were misplaced and they are not. Thanks for the good ideas on trying to find them. I will just have to go back and get more pics of the lighthouse. :) |

I see you seem to have tried every trick I can think of.
Too bad the image is very good. |

How are people running towards the finish line.
Thought I was getting a burst towards the line making it over 6.1 but I sprung a leak today :(

I blew a tire on the first lap and had to come in for repair. I am presently running about 4 laps down. :(

Slightly above my average lap times....... 6.0223 just now, nothing that's gonna get me a podium though. I'm also about worried about the next race...........not that happy with the car's setup for a tunnel track......! |

I think the engineer for my car in the next race drew the plans on a cave wall....and the car has square wheels.... |

Well, contrary to my belief ( and this just goes to show what i know about DPC voters ), my KERS button appears to have worked in this new round.........19 votes and a 6.7368 in tunnels..........I'm now holding on to that steering wheel for dear life!
Plus my Snoopy "Oil" slithered in with a 6.1463 and 11th place........respectable! |

As much as it pains me to point this out... my Oil photo only scored 5.0709... think there's a typo in there :( |
