Are you folks getting older images, or will the most recent "older" requests be handed out first? |
Old. Mine is from 2004. It's like a blast from the past, before I had even heard about this place. |

Cheer up, everyone! I've only seen about 8 reviewers names on here, but I'm sure there's more.
Anyway, if the 8 of you do about 10 a week, it will only take you 13.9 years to clear off the queue. Since there has to be more than 8 of you, it will probably only take about 10 years :P |

Here's a question about the new "critique old photos" thing...
Is there still a time limit that I have to be wary of? I don't plan on letting it sit forever, but it would be nice to know. |

Ah ha, this is something I didn't know! Explains why I seem to get snaffles so many times. :)

LoL when I first saw this thread title I thought I'd see a Yellow character with a bouncy bendy tail jumpin out at me or something ;) (the theme son of wow wow wubzy - wubzy wubzy wow wow wowwwww... lept into my head instead... = the title made me laugh and forced me to read out of curiousity)
perhaps those past pics could have an option put on them "critique still desired from critique club" etc-- ? i know after a couple of mine weren't critiqued i just went into the forums and asked other ppl opinions/thoughts etc for feedback -- which helps immensely -- pics from over 4 years ago tho? I know I wouldn't wait that long to get feedback on something I photographed--- :-) I'd find someone i barely know and push the photo under their nose and demand to know what they like and dislike etc... :-) -- maybe it would lighten up the critique club load if an option like that was offered after a challenge? "check here if you still desire a critique from the critique club" or such (by default being unchecked) just a random thought :-) otherwise it may be a good 15 years before you see the end of the huge # of critiques requested in the q ;)
:-) just my random early afternoon thoughts

I echo the above and at this rate Juliet will be in the all time top 10 in about another 6 weeks! |

aww shucks!!! thanks guys!!
I have a questions, I am still getting Free Study Critiques and not the recent challenge, is that correct?? I thought there was a rollover? or did I completely read a different set of rules, that are in no way related to DPC at all? |

Juliet, I'm guessing the current requests are served in requested order so when the FS requests are all done we will move on to the later challenges. |

So does that mean there's hope for still getting a critique on my 3-year-old requests? :)
Wait... you guys get priority... Hey, that just means you'll all be now requesting critiques then spending all your time critiquing the critiquers and I still won't get one! :P

I put in a ticket a few weeks ago to clarify this. The queue only clears once the challenges are archived. So, whilst the challenge results are still showing on the front page, then any critique requests will remain in the queue. That's why if you have selected one and there is a rollover, it may still be available to you for critique after rollover. Now at rollover tonight Life & Death/Death will be archived so if there are any images still in the queue from these challenges, then they will disappear from the queue. I don't think the FS will be archived until Sunday's rollover so they will be in the queue a little while longer. At least this is how I have understand it.
