Eggggzackly! :D
My complaint isn't as much with the heat outdoors as with the fact that it's rare enough here to make in uneconomical to equip our homes to deal with it. Hence, when it DOES happen we slow-roast in our ovens houses :) |

I kinda feel your pain, after a long day at work i come back and my house is pretty much a furnace, takes a good hour to cool down. Over here there's no question about having A/C in every house, economical or not, its a must!
I need to start using the timer function!! |

How much do you pay for electricity there?
I live in a 1 bedroom 900 square foot apartment in Texas..and just paid $180 for last months bill. It sure would be nice to have no AC to run the bill up=) |

Wow. Time to do some weather sealing. We just had the highest electric bill we've ever had in this house (8 years, 2400 sq ft, 2 dog doors in constant use), and it was only $225. |

Outside temp hasn't reached over the mid 80's all summer here. We keep the A/C running anyway (at least in the bedroom). We don't like the heat. Heck, when winter comes and it's -20F here we still keep the window open with fans on in the bedroom. |

We have 2600 sq ft and 4 computers running 24/7, and our highest was $250 during a very cold December (electric heat and gas fireplace). Normal is about what you pay.
Yeah, we majorly complain about our grey, rainy winters here but we're pretty spoiled, on the whole, by the normally-temperate weather. |

How selfish. People in BC don't need sunshine.

Sigh... I guess we do have everything else that is good here and should take some sympathy on those poor souls stuck in Hell Ontario. On second thought, not a chance! :D |

That's because they already have a sunshiny disposition. I can see why those in Ontario would want some sunshine. :oP |
