I clicked on the first one on that page (yeah, probably not just because it was the first one). The photos are good, but I should have refrained from reading the text. |
I had to go and click just cos im nosey like that. Wow is about all I can say the combination of shots and text. I especially liked the asparagus tale : ) |

O. Winston Link
I went to a local exhibition of his work today, wasn't familiar with him before now. It's an overstatement to say that I'd want to be him, but his work impressed me. |

I was hoping someone would mention Nick Brandt. I've spent hours studying his work, which I think is magnificent & breathtaking. Don't know if I'd want to "be" him, but I'd sure like to tag along & schlep his gear ;) His new book is coming out in September. |

Well, either Adams or Lawrence. The first is one of my lifetime favorites. The second is damn good and young. (Imagine where he will be in 30 years!)

If I were someone else, how do I know that someone else didn't want to be some other person, then where would I be???
I'll stick with being me and admiring the work of others. |

I carefully avoided saying that I wanted to 'be him' - simply that I loved his work.
I have no desire to 'be' anyone else - heck - it's enough effort being me without being anyone else . .
