I did a book at myPublisher for my aunt and wanted to try out the link... link, feel free to view if you'd like. LOL! This was her birthday and she's a big ham. I have posted some random shots from this in the b&w challenge.

eta: I'm in the shots with the chairs in the fore ground. LOL! My aunt's boyfriend took those.

That's EXCELLENT Kelli! You did a great job - with all the shots AND with putting them together in a book. She will LOVE it!! I'm assuming you've ordered it printed? Let us know how the quality is. And again - GREAT work - looks awesome!!

Yes, I did order it, and got two for the price of one! I recently did a flower one for another aunt as a gift and used Shutterfly. They offered me a free 8x10 hardcover. The quality of that was excellent.

Oh how bleeding annoying! I turned on my computer expecting to see my score for Death on the left hand side - nothing... All set to wing an email to Site Council, then I realised - I had accidentally stuck it in the wrong challenge. Dash. I am feeling sooo frustrated as our day trip on Saturday involved a round trip of over 150 miles, all to get the specific photo I had in mind, not to mention the time I spent late yesterday evening chosing and editing, and then going to the bother of detailing all my editing steps in the comments box (something I virtually never get around to doing. Double Dash.

Very quick note to tell you all how much I'm lovin Alaska!!! Pretty amazing sights here. Now if the rain would only go away it'd be darned near perfect. Today we did a glacier flight. I'm happy to report that my stomach remains intact (that just might be a miracle!!).

Sara, that sucks!! I suspect you put it in Free Study, then? Will it still work there?

Good to hear from you, Jeanne!

Jessie's memorial was yesterday afternoon, exactly one week after she was born.
We went before the service and I took that opportunity to do the one thing I regretted not doing when she was born - I got to hold my daughter.

Brad took this photo

Lea, I so want to say something, but I just can't find the words to articulate it. You and your family reamin in my thoughts.

I went to Cedar Point yesterday and I didn't even take my camera. My daughter Gretchen and I made the three hour drive and rode a bunch of coasters.

I rode the Top Thrill Dragster. The first year that ride opened, the lines were 3 hours long and I refused to wait that long for one ride when I could ride three other coasters in that time frame. This year however, the line was only 1.5 hours so I decided to wait it out. I spent all that time in line for a ride that lasted between 15 and 20 seconds. I guess I would have to say it was worth it in the end.

We also rode the old standards; Gemni, Raptor, Magnum, Mean streak etc. I don't know why I continue to ride the Mean Streak. I guess I'm just like the dog that continues to chase the mailman even though he gets sprayed with mace every time. That ride just seems to beat the daylights out of me, yet I keep going back. I always tell myself, "never again", and I just keep going back.

The raptor doesn't just take your picture any more, you can now purchase a full length DVD of your entire ride for $15. There is a little camera right in front of you filming the whole ride. At the end, you get to see a 10 second clip. I just kept waving and smilng at the camera, except when it went into the double roll, then, I don't know what I was doing. I guess could have spent $15 to find out but now I'll just have to die never knowing what actually happened.

We were driving home along highway 2 between Sandusky and Toledo and I had my Pink Floyd music playing. My daughter said "You know dad, nothing says Schizophrenia like Pink Floyd music". That made me feel good. I can see that her psychology degree paid off!! I think!!! At least that's what the little voices tell me!!

Anyway, it was a good day and a lot of fun. We'll have to do it again next year.
