I got a Fuji Finepix 3800 for my birthday. I am just getting into photography, and am interested in wildlife photography mainly. Is this camera a good camera for a beginner and will it take me to the intermediate level in the future.

Thanks

Just look at Pitsaman's profile and check out his animal portfolio. He has 3 cameras but used the 3800 for some of them.

Try this link for more pictures with the 3800.

3800 is great camera for animals, just need a very steady hand because of the large zoom!

I started out with a Fuji Finepix 3800 and I got very good photographs with it. It's an excellent camera for beginners and to discover this wonderful world of Digital Photography.
