FYI - if you're an omnia owner through verizon wireless - there is an update available as of a few minutes ago. the update is supposed to address a few issues with the functionality of the phone, and as far as i can tell unlock the GPS functionality to work with 3rd party software ( instead of being crippled and locked to only work with verizons VZnavigator).

i hope your new hot to the touch iphone 3gs is serving up good eggs

ETA: the gps is unlocked, and there a few new apps, memory usage is far better, among a few other things. the omnia with spb mobile shell 3 running is pretty slick.
