I have the Nikon D300 and the MB-D10 grip. I am using a extra EN-EL3e (I think that the number) in the grip. Here's the question...when the battery in the grip runs out, shouldn't it switch over to the one in the camera. I am getting low battery indicators in the viewfinder and the battery in the camera is 100% charged. I noticed that I can take the battery in the grip out, and then keep shooting, but that's a pain. I looked and I didn't see a menu option to switch between batteries?

Anyone?

I think there is an option in the menu to indicate which battery to use first. Look for that and see if it helps.

It is there. d11. I have mine set to use the Grip one 1st, then the one in the camera. The problem i am having is that it's not switching over. It starts to misfire, blink on the indicator, and lock up. I have to turn it off and on again to get it to work right for a few more shots. I never let go all the way to zero, but I would think it should switch over to the other battery before it became unstable.

I have been taking it out of the grip, sticking in my pocket and then i am fine.
