I have a 3 pictures of a fitness model that wants to use her image for her own advertising and she only wants her body with no background.. Kinda like a clip art of herself.. I made the selection, pasted it onto a new document with a transparent background then saved it as a jpeg so she could use it in word documents and whatever else she wanted.. But, when I did the save, it quickly flashed a white background and now when you open it in word or any other program, there's a white background..

How do I create this document as basically a piece of clip art ??? Does this make sense.. ??

Thank you,
Kristin

Turn the selection into a path, then set the path as a clipping path and save as EPS or TIFF format -- I don't think JPEG supports clipping paths, and I'm not totally sure about the TIFF.

You could sve as GIF with a transparent background, but your colors would probably turn pretty horible (256 colors maximum).

Instead of saving it as a JPEg, save it as a PNG.
