I want to know if someone out there with a 10-22 lens has a date code on the lens. THe copy I have does not have one. this site says that not all lenses have one.
Canon Date Codes
Anyone let me know.

No, my "EF-S 10-22" Ultra-wide doesn't have a date code.
However, my "70-200mm f/2.8L IS" does have one and is coded with a "W" (2008).
Also, my "Extender EF 1.4x" is also coded with the same letter "W" (2008).
eta: They both were manufactured in Utsunomiya, Japan (coded with a "U").
