You know, the funny thing about the topic choice is that I had just told my wife earlier in the day that I would like to see Portraits with Children for the Sunday night topic!

argh! I have 2 kids and a husband. And I have never gotten a good picture of my husband! I've never figured out how to ask people if I can take their picture...

Keep thinking this thread is titled Portraits without Chicken. No idea why!!

Anyway, Im not good at portraits. Although I have a photogenic friend who I might see if I can take a good shot of.

WOOOOHOOO...SC finally choose one of my topics during a week when I actually have a shoot planned. THANK THANK THANK YOU......now watch with my luck she cancels!

For once the timing on a challenge works in my favor! I have my cousin's wedding this weekend and both he and his fiancee are both very photogenic; and I have the second half of a grad sitting to do...so maybe I'll pin that down for this week!

This kind of works for me too, just got my 135mm f/2 DC and looking forward to trying it out. :)

Naw, I get the feeling that the wining portraits will be of very interesting looking people. I highly doubt a middle aged housewife portrait would do well.
