All,
The mention of the B-word in this thread made me realize that I needed to post a thread proposing a GTG while Brian is stateside. Let us speak of Breafast, and oh yeah, let's go shoot somewhere! |

I am here until the 16th. I believe that I have both Sat and Sun mornings open. The B Word sounds good and a shoot would be nice too.
Because I am not spending alot of Time on DPC over the next couple of weeks or longer. It is probably best that you guys use PM or Email to let me know what is happening. I will try to keep an eye on this thread but will be hard.

So, anyone up for Sunday AM? Looks like the winner of the two days... How about breakfast (of course) and a MKE Zoo shoot? |

I am going to have a couple of hours free on Sunday Morn, But not much more than that. What time does the Zoo open? |

Zoo doesn't open until 09:00, so it would have to be breakfast, then zoo. Anther alternatve would be to do a sunrise shoot & breakfast afterward |

I can do either, If we do breakfast around 7:30-8:00 Then hit the Zoo. I would have about 2 hours leftover for the Zoo. Then I have to come home and do some more painting and some packing as well. I do have a new Camera that I would like to give a proper test to make sure all features work before I haul it to the other side of the globe. |

Let's do the zoo then, and whoever shows up shows up... Got any good ideas for breakfast? If not, I can do a little research. |

Ok The Zoo it is. I have no clue for a good breakfast. Somewhere in Brookfield I imagine? If you want to dig up a place that would be great. I will wait to hear back from you and see ya Sunday!

Let's try the Machine Shed, 07:30? Yeh, it's a chain, but the breakfast is pretty good as I recall.

Are we talking Sunday, as in tomorrow?? I may be able to make it for sunrise and the breakfast, but may not be able to stay for the zoo.
Kirbic, is that the address of the restaurant? (N14 W24145 Tower Rd ??) |

Google maps doesn't recognize it. I'm a little questionable due to an early afternoon commitment, but I'll see what I can do. |

That's the address from the company website... it appears that the street name is incorrect, though, it seems it should be "Tower Pl". In any case, it should be clearly visible on the NW of the intersection of I94 and CTH J (exit 294).
I'm also thinking about skulking about the countryside early in the AM looking for some sunrise shots. I don't have a specific location in mind though. |

The Sun Rises far earlier than I especially on Sunday. haha. I will be up in time for the nice early light however. A place in the area of the Machine Shed not too far off is Lapham Peak State Park. I can assure you on a clear day you will get a good view of the sun from there and a horizion that stretches a full 360 degrees. You could start the day there just before or around sunrise. You have to pay to enter the park. It is only a few dollars per car for an hour long visit, which we wouldn't need much more than. Plus the odds are at that hour the GW would not be too picky about charging us for going over the hour by a few minutes. Just an idea to toss on the plate.

Im sorry I didn't make this morning. I had a very late night, We had company over and then spent a couple of hours in the wee morning packing some more boxes. Didn't sleep til 3:30 AM woke up at 9:30 this morning and started to do some more packing. Moving really is a pain.
I guess I will have to wait until you guys come over to New Zealand for a GTG. I will be in touch with you all via DPC, facebook and email.
