Uploading a banner to profile page

Ok so I lost to Judi in the May free study. wiht the loss I must post my banner on my profile page. i have created the banner and I cannot figure out how to resize the thumb so it appears large enough to read. My file size is 1000pix x 100pix. The pic it self is large enough but I cannot post an image in the preferences portion. It only allows a thumbnail image.

Anyone help?

Try reducing the size of it to 500 and then post this code in. Change the image number in bold to the image number of your banner.It will link the image to your FS image. Remove the gap after the first 'url' in the code. I had to put the gap there or the code won't show in this post.

ok tried that and got a link that goes to the image I lost with. It didn't show the banner.
