Amazing battery life, no worries about that. I have never run out of battery life during a day shoot. Just make sure to always leave it fully charged though. |

I use a card reader - a Hama - under Windows XP when i insert the card it brings up a list of programmes and asks which one I want to use so I just click on the ZoomBrowser.
Or do you mean something else?

Soup, when you plug in the card reader it becomes a drive on your computer. The Canon software allows you to click on a drive to view whats on it, however, I always copy all the files to a work directory from the reader and use that for my viewing as it is much faster. Did that answer your question? |

i think so, but wont knwo till i get home.
running win98 so the xp browser isnt an issue, but i would like to have the control of the canon software through the card reader, so i dont duplicate downloaded images...
sounds like it'll work, but never noticed you could search with the zoom brwoser cuz it always pops up auto when i have the cam hooked up...
thanks
